Sock Puppets

   A while back, well a long while back, Kasen and I were sitting in the ER and of course he was getting a little antsy, as was I.  A lady came up to us and handed Kasen a little bag.  Inside was about 6 coloring pages stapled together, a baggie of used crayons and a handmade teddy bear... He still has that teddy bear to this day.  It was the best thing ever!  Kept him busy for just a little while, and I sane. 

   Since then, I was inspired to do something similar.  I have always had a passion for kids and it breaks my heart the time that some kids have to spend in the hospital.  I have been waiting for an idea to hit me and just stick.  I thing I may have found it.. You ready??.......

Sock Puppets!!! 

   Yes, you heard right.. SOCK PUPPETS!  These are timeless treasures that we used to enjoy as kids ourselves.  Just imagine, all different fun colors of socks, yarn and buttons!  I would like to do this long term.  Work on some for about 2 1/2 months and deliver the 3rd.  If anyone is interested in helping, donating supplies or the help needed to make them... you are more than welcome!  Details about that to come at a later date.  

   So excited about this!
